Main controller unit is the heart of the complete PA/PIS system. This unit is housed in standard Euro Card Frame. This unit is generally fitted in each DT car of the train.

This unit is installed in every car of the train. It contain audio power amplifier to drive the associated loudspeakers.

The emergency talkback unit shall be installed at suitable locations inside the coach, with the microphone/ loudspeaker positioned approx. 1.5m above the vehicle floor.

A Emergency Alarm Button shall be installed at passenger exterior doorway in the car. In case of emergency the passenger pushes this button to generate an alarm for the train driver.

A fist microphone is connected with the main operating panel and auxiliary operating panel. The microphone is normally retained to the left hand side of the panel, by a metal clip. The microphone has a curly cord, and the end of this cord is terminated with a 9 pin ‘D’ connector.

LCD based Dynamic Route Map Display Panel provides real time location information of the train to the passengers during the journey in user convenient format with door open / close information. The progress and position of the train throughout the journey is indicated by a progressive status bar.
